Got Nothing To Say? We’ve Got You Covered!

Staying in touch with your sphere can be challenging, especially when you struggle with a reason to reach out. But there’s always something to celebrate. Whether it be the holidays, a birthday, anniversary, or a milestone, every day brings a new opportunity to recognize one of life’s happy moments. Here are 5 ways you can connect today!

Housiversary

If you are not celebrating your client’s housiversary, it’s time to reconsider! Send a card to your clients in honor of the day they became homeowners. This thoughtful gesture will remind them how you helped them and let them know you’re still there when they need you. Remember, most people move on average every 5 years so their next move may be closer than you think!

Birthdays

Receiving birthday wishes is always appreciated – especially when you receive a handwritten card. This old school approach means a lot to people, mainly because most of the time greetings are delivered in a text message or post on their social media page. Each month, make it a point to send birthday cards to friends, neighbors, clients, and prospects. This simple act won’t go unnoticed, or unrewarded with future business.

New Baby

The birth of a baby is a perfect reason to reach out. Don’t let this milestone go unnoticed. Be sure to send a handwritten card to the new parents (or grandparents) with your congratulatory wishes. And if your budget allows, consider dropping off a small gift or home cooked meal. Staying in touch, especially in times like these, help you stay top-of-mind for when they need to buy a bigger house for their growing family.

Holidays

It’s common for agents to send holiday greetings in November and December, but have you ever considered mailing a card for a less celebrated Hallmark holiday?  Think about sending handwritten greetings for Halloween, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day or the 4th of July. This not-so-typical effort will help you stand out from the masses.

New Job

New jobs often prompt moves. Next time you see a post on social media about someone getting a promotion or retiring, be sure to reach out. Send a handwritten card congratulating them on their recent accomplishment and wishing them the best in their new adventure.
