Salutations, seeker of knowledge!

If you’re reading this blog, that means you probably have a taste for slightly serious, well thought, astute social commentary… or you’re looking for a witty opinion journalist to write for your website, newspaper, or magazine (let’s talk later, shall we?). Either way, thank you for coming and reading my blog. I’m always grateful when I can share my view and inform others; even if they don’t agree with me.

You see, I have a philosophy. I believe that it is my duty to make people think about things. Even if they disagree with my views, they have to think in order to debate me. More often than not, I’ll debate someone just to get a feel for their ability to think rather than to disprove them.

I also believe in utilitarian art, the idea that something can be enjoyed for aesthetic quality or entertainment and still serve a useful function. That’s what I hope to do with this blog; entertain while informing.

As for my experience, just in case anyone asks, I am graduate of Southern New Hampshire University double-majoring in Graphic Design and Communication with a minor in Psychology. While there, I served as an editor and writer for The Observer (now called The Penmen Press) for three years and an on-air personality for Radio SNHU for two years. So if any questions come up regarding my ability to speak here, you know my credentials are in order.

I intend to cover a broad range of topics on this blog including – but not limited to – politics, entertainment, social issues, and even just idle thoughts that cross my mind all in an effort to meet that “entertain and inform” goal I mentioned before.

I will always encourage others to share their thoughts on a subject I bring up. In fact, why don’t you write an article to supplement mine so that I can be informed along with all of your audience?

Enjoy and be enlightened,

“The Awkward Agent”
